London specializes in contrasting bold and delicate linework, stippling/dot work, pointillism, devotional talismans and sacred geometry.

Tattooing since 2015, London brings a rich blend of artistry, soul, and precision to every piece. Specializing in contrasting bold and delicate linework, stippling/dot work, pointillism, devotional talismans and sacred geometry; London’s work speaks to both the eye and the spirit. After honing his craft under the esteemed Chicano realism master Erik Montelongo in Atlanta GA., London has carved a path of resilience, and passion—one that began with humble beginnings as a child with a crayon and lead here, to Asheville NC where he is now with a tattoo machine and a heart full of passion. Having started making art as a child, then tattooing at the young age of only nineteen, armed with nothing but a car and a dream, tattooing gave London everything when he had nothing. Now, he gives everything back to the craft. It’s both a calling and a gift; one that has carried him through personal trials and triumphs. After relocating to the beautiful mountains of our hometown here in Asheville during the summer of 2024, London continues to offer a deeply transformative tattooing experience, believing in the power of art to connect, heal, and renew. His almost decade-long journey in tattooing has been a testament to the profound impact ink can have on the human spirit—helping clients reclaim confidence, overcome depression, find balance, and transform pain into strength. When he isn't tattooing or in his garden listening to the birds, he's usually working in some form of meditative practice that allows him to flow and center himself. Whether it's feeling the flow of a skateboard, or a bouldering problem on a rock wall, London enjoys moving his mind and body through synchronization in a way that challenges both him, and the depths of human focus. He often rides his bike to the studio; doing his best to balance an active and social lifestyle outside of tattooing with things like reading, concerts, hiking, playing with his spoiled cat, and even playing a little harmonica sometimes. Most importantly, tattooing, for London, is more than a profession; it is a sacred and ceremonial practice, a ritual of healing and self-discovery. His work these days is driven by a reverence for tattooing’s ceremonial roots, and its ability to rewire the mind and body. The goal is approaching each design with respect and intention, as he weaves art that resonates on a personal and spiritual level. Whether crafting a little fun momento, or large scale deeply intricate work, London creates living art that honors the timeless tradition of tattooing. His mission is not just to adorn the body, but to help clients embody their stories, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways. For those seeking more than just ink on skin, London Von Graves offers a journey of transformation—where art meets soul, and the body becomes a canvas for powerful statements.
